ABOUT US
Anna and Ray moved to their stunning 10-acre property in the Macedon Ranges at 302 Mt Gisborne Road, Gisborne in the Winter of 1992.
They were captivated by the dramatic beauty of the landscape. The property is nestled 600 metres above sea level on a volcanic plain, offering views of the city skyline, Port Phillip Bay, with sunrises to the east and sunsets to the west.
The western views overlook Bullengarook, the Wombat State Forest, Mount Blackwood and beyond.
302 Flowers began in the mid-1990s, free-draining with planting our first Pink Ice proteas in the rich, red acidic soil. The proteas and natives grow happily on the slopes, a natural free-draining position, thriving on sun and rain.

On arrival at 302 Mt Gisborne Road, you are greeted by a sweeping driveway lined by various Eucalyptus trees planted by us in 1992. A love of plants and the natural environment sees us constantly adding to our plant selection. Birdlife is abundant on the farm, enjoying the protea blooms. Bees buzz happily with a Flow Hive introduced in 2020. Local kangaroos and wallabies graze on the hills of the property.
Our boutique, micro flower farm produces fresh cut proteas, banksias, leucadendrons, a variety of beautiful natives, foliage and other plant varieties.

We also grow hand selected unusual blooms that add a little "something different" to our bouquets.

We offer seasonal blooms and follow our philosophy that works with nature, our flowers grown in a natural environment. Our blooms are picked at their optimum stage, offering excellence in quality and freshness, beauty and a longer vase life. We are sustainable, bee friendly and our blooms are chemical free.

FEATURED ON CHANNEL 9 news
It was a great privilege to be featured in a news segment, in the lead up to Valentine’s Day 2023, highlighting the issues around the Flower Industry in Australia, the importance of supporting locally grown and chemical-free blooms to the Australian market, as well as the importance of locally, slow grown and chemical-free flowers and foliage.
Thank you to Channel 9 News Melbourne, Madeline Spark, and the film crew, Ryan and Tim, for their support and professionalism. It was an absolute delight to share our farm with you. If you would like to see some of the farm views, the video segment can be seen on the Channel 9 News website.
